Heavy Weight Merino Wool Double Knit Leg Warmers. These leg warmers are like wool sweaters for your legs. What ever you call them, they're stretchy and soft and made of a thick heavy weight merino wool that keeps you cozy on chilly days or warm on cold nights. They measure 22" tall featuring horizontal ribbed seams, with an embroidered hemmed top. Soft and warm, they make the perfect fall or winter layer. See last picture for color options.

If you'd like to add additional length, the cost is $10 per 5" segment. Adding length will automatically add width to the top piece, so no need to size up. You may purchase that by adding the appropriate option to your cart from the following listing:

SIZING:

Measure your leg a couple of inches above the knee:

S 13-15" lower thigh circumference
M 16-18" lower thigh circumference
L 19-22" lower thigh circumference
XL 23-25" lower thigh circumference

The actual leg warmers are smaller than these measurements to help them stay up, though they stay up the best when worn over leggings or tall socks. Order a size up if you plan to wear them on TOP of jeans.

CARE:

Wool is naturally dirt and odor resistant. When a washing or reshaping is needed, will your Woolen Moss garment shrink?
The short answer is yes. The long answer is, with a cold wash on a gentle cycle (front loader only) and with wool wash, you can avoid heavy shrinkage and continue to enjoy your clothing for years to come. All garments should be stretched in length when wet and then laid flat to dry. If pilling occurs over time, you may use a sweater shaver as directed to maintain a clean new look.
